My Friend - #GDP033

Hi all

Global Design Project #033 | Colour Challenge

Time for a challenge! I was really excited to see the colours chosen for the challenge on Global Design Project this week and couldn't resist joining in.

It's such a sophisticated combination. These colours would suit male and female projects and any occasion so of you're just starting out on a stamping journey these would be great to add to your collection.

I used the Bloomin' Love bundle in my project which you'll actually find in the Stampin' Up! retiring section. The good news is that it's not actually retiring (phew!) it's the bundle price that's retiring and you can currently enjoy 15% off the stamp set and coordinating die set when purchased together.
Price now: £31.25
Price from 1 June: £37

Stampin' Up! #Onstage2016 swaps, fun and more!

Hi all

I had a fantastic time last weekend at the Stampin' Up! Onstage event. It's so much fun seeing my Stampin' Up! family and all the new goodies coming your way in the 2016-2017 annual catalogue. Can I just say a very BIG YUM!!! You are going to love it!!!

First order of the day is always swaps. Here's mine:

To make the box cut card at 21x12cm

Use the gift bag punch board lining your card up at the start line. The final tiny score you can see is made at the side line and this is where you'll apply your adhesive. I also snipped off the tiny tab you get at the top.
If you've been quick and checked out the retired list posted on Monday you'll have noticed some of the items I've used are now retired. I'll post the recipe at the bottom of this post and you may just be lucky to grab what you need.

You can see the full retired list here:

Me and my new BFF! :)

The lovely swaps I received

We're doing it all again in November and if you'd like the opportunity to come along then you can join my team or find out more by clicking the 'join the fun' tab at the top of the page.

Foam Party!

Hi all

At the March Class we used a technique using shaving foam and everyone had a great time!

I thought I'd share the technique details so that you can have a go too.

You'll need a can of shaving foam (not gel) and some Stampin' Up! re-inkers

Put a few drops of re-inker on the foam and pull the colour through the foam to create a marble effect.

Place your card in the foam, pressing down gently to ensure full coverage.

Scrape the foam off using a spatula or palette knife to reveal the beautiful pattern.
Keep mixing and experimenting to create even more unique patterns

I just realised as I took the photo that my card bottom right got damaged during class, sorry!
