Stampin' Up! Tiny treat box sneak peek!

Hi all

The launch of the BRAND NEW Stampin' Up! catalogue is now tantalisingly close! One of the perks of being a demo means I've had my hands on some of the products for a couple of weeks now and I've had a lot of fun playing!

I took one of the Tiny Treat boxes which are fantastic value for money. You get 25 for  £6.25 and they are very sturdy as well as super cute.

In the words of my 8 year old I 'transformed' it using some of the new catalogue items.

I used some NEW Cherry on Top Washi tape to wrap around the box. The flower on top was punched out of NEW Cotton Paper Assortment and I used a bone folder to curl up the petals of the Pansy flower punch, the cotton paper holds it's shape beautifully. The flower is then topped off with NEW Blossom Accents which I've popped a Rhinestone Basic Jewel into for extra bling.

The cute dangling tag is made from Chalk talk framelits, The 'Enjoy' sentiment is from Mini Treat Bag thinlets and tied with Whisper White Baker's Twine.

So not many more sleeps to wait, 2 June to be exact. You can shop online in my store at any time and access the brand new catalogue as soon as it goes live.

Stampin' Up! weekly deals, discounted buttons, stamps, ribbon and more!

Hi all

Wednesday comes round very quickly doesn't it? That's fine though as I get very impatient wanting to know what's on the deals list for the week :)

So here's the lovely selection:

It's a great time to stock up on ribbon and buttons and also investing in dies while there is such a big saving. The burger box die is reduced by £8.74!

I've got a couple of projects that I made previously to share with you. They do feature some retired items but you can change the colours etc to suit and I think they highlight just how versatile the die is.

Any questions, be sure to ask,
Happy stamping!!

My swap from Telford - Mini tic tac box with instructions

Hi all

As promised, here is the swap I made for the Stampin' Up! regional training event I attended at the weekend in Telford.

I made 32 (I think!) which means I received lots in return that I will share in another post.

It all started with an awesome box of mini tic tacs...I love the cuteness!
There was lots of scoring, snipping and sticking but I eventually ended up with a basket full of little boxes that needed some decoration.

The end result.
TIP I used the Word Window Punch to get the sentiments identical in size and then fishtailed one end.

I used a tutorial by Omellie's Designs, you can see it here

If you have any questions or the page doesn't translate please let me know.

Stampin' Up! regional training - We had a blast!

Hi all

It was a fun filled couple of days starting with a lovely meal in our hotel on Friday then onto the main event on Saturday.

Me, Fiona (my upline) and Helen, one of my team waiting for the fun to start!

Helen won the Project Life prize patrol and was a very happy lady indeed! Can't wait to see the layouts she creates with it.

We saw lots of demonstrations using things from the new catalogue and we got the men stamping too!

The display team worked really hard on all the inspiration for us to drool over.

We had the opportunity to play with new goodies

and even 'met' the new catalogue :) Chris the Super catalogue is actually Chris from demo support  in Germany and is one of the absolute heroes that help all us demo's with our questions and enquiries.

Fiona made me a fab notebook and pen using some of the brand new dsp, washi and stamps.

and these great gifts from Stampin' Up!

I will be back soon with pictures and info on the swap I made and the swaps I received.

Stampin' Up! regional training -team goody bags

Hi all

Today is one of my favourite days of the year, Stampin' Up! regional training. It's my chance to meet 100's of other demo's, play with new products, craft and get lots of business tips.

There's 2 things us demo's like to make for these kinds of events:
1) swaps...I will blog about these next week :)
2) team gifts, which I'll show you now!

A little something to keep them going, chewing gum, a little box of chocs (obviously) and a bottle water because crafting is thirsty work...

I used Birthday Bash DSP and Amazing Birthday, notice how versatile Amazing Birthday is? I cut the 'birthday to you' part of just left the 'happy' for the gift bag tag and I think the images are pretty generic. I love to get extra mileage out of my stamps.

I'll be back with more from training very soon...

Stampin' Up! - Unleash your inner artist!

It's super easy to create a beautiful water colour effect using Stampin' Up! ink pads and aqua painters, you'll have so much fun!

Just stamp your image with StazOn (it dries quickly and wont bleed into your work) give your ink pad a little squeeze before you open it and you'll have enough ink in the lid to use as your palette.

Enjoy!
