At first glance this sketch seemed pretty easy but when I started to think about my design I struggled for a while but luckily the creative juices started to flow when I chose my DSP for the left hand side of the card. Yes, I did use Blackberry Bliss....again! But I've tried to change up my usual style a little in the design.

I'm featuring the stamp set 'A happy thing' I love feeding the birds in my garden and watching which varieties I can entice in so I've chosen the bird image and 'love life' is a great sentiment.
You can watercolour using Stampin' Up! inkpads and an Aqua painter. Simply squeeze the inkpad while it's closed and you will have enough ink inside the case to use as your pallet.

Hi all

I had a fun day on Saturday, training with some of my Stampin' Up! colleagues.  I have lots of new ideas to try out so watch this space!

And as is customary on these occasions, we all made swaps. I received beautiful and clever swaps in return.

I used the envelope punch board to make these in a cute 3x3" size but you can make them using any size you want. And guess what? If you don't already own the envelope punch board, check out the weekly deals below because this week it's on sale!

Colour challenge - Spring has sprung!

Hi all

This weeks colour challenge had spring written all over it in my opinion and Stampin' Up! have the perfect stamp set for it.

The From the Garden stamp set is just too adorable. It has matching framelits available as a bundle so you save 15% on the price when purchased separately.

I used Strawberry Slush thick bakers twine and pulled threads from it to give a more delicate finish.

Sketch Challenge - Label Love

Hi all

I'm a little late with this week's challenge, I usually make them on a Sunday but as it was Mother's Day I was too busy being spoilt :)

This is the sketch challenge CAS colour and sketches blog set this week

Anything with a banner shape is just fine by me!

I used the Label Love bundle which come with the Artisan label punch saving you 15% on the price if you were to purchase these items separately. It's a great stamp set with a good range of sentiments.

To give my punched sentiment a border I punched it out again twice in Daffodil Delight and cut them as per image below. Tombo (a wet adhesive) gives you that 'wiggle room' whilst lining up to create the perfect border.

Team time fun!

Hi all

I had a fun evening yesterday getting together with my team. It's always lovely to catch up with everyone and of course crafting together! I love that Stampin' Up! is as much about friendship as it is crafting.

We made this fun project

We filled them with mini Easter eggs, any excuse for chocolate :)

Weekly deals { A little kindness goes a long way }

Hi all

I think you are all going to love this weeks deals! We've got punches, ribbon, twine and....Well just read on :)

The punch on this week's deals is a very special one indeed and I didn't need much of an excuse to craft with it. It is the very beautiful Elegant Butterfly Punch.

Here's what I was inspired to create with it:

As you can see I also layered the Bitty Butterfly punch onto it, both of which co-ordinate with the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.

Colour challenge - Stampin' Up! in colours

Hi all

This week's challenge is a colour challenge using some of the gorgeous Stampin' Up! in colours.

I decided to create a stamped background using these colours including some 'stamping off' to vary the intensity of the ink.

Here's my entry:

It uses some of favourite 'go to' Stampin' Up! items which is the Sweet Taffy DSP, Cupcake party stamp set and matching punch.

Any day is a cupcake kind of day, right??
