Festive Flower Hello for GDP020

Hi all

My first challenge entry for 2016 - and it's only January, go me! :)

I've been admiring the Global Design Project challenges and entries from afar for a while now and today I finally took the plunge and joined in the fun.

#GDP020 - CASE the designer

My design was led by the gorgeous stripy DSP and I thought Crushed Curry would be a perfect, contemporary match for it even when using a traditional flower shape. There are co-ordintating stamps for the flower but I wanted to keep the lines very clean so kept the petals naked.

  2. Esther, I adore how you chose to use the bright yellow flower on the black and white background. This is a great interpretation of my original inspiration piece. Thanks for joining us this week at Global Design Project.
